I’ve been working on this idea a while now, creating a gathering space for children. This is an early sketch of the concept. I’ve offered it up in conjunction with my Armed with the Arts campaign, in hopes we can use it as way to engage children in the arts. I’d like to do the sculpting in a library or community setting, where the public can actively participate and create works of their own.
Would you and your kids enjoy watching the creation of this? Would you sign up for classes and workshops given throughout the creation of this piece? I’m not sure where this idea is going yet, but look forward to your thoughts.
